Utility Knife
Knives have been a part of the human race and were considered the most important tool during the early ages. Knives were as a weapon against enemies and as a tool during hunting animals. Nowadays many different types of knives have been developed and there are knives which are made for specific purposes. There are skinning knives, meat cutting knives, army knives, and utility knives, etc which have been developed for special purposes.

Electricians use there own type of folding utility knife for cutting wires or un-shielding cables. The paper cutter and envelop opener is another type of dull edged knife which is commonly used in offices for opening letters or packages or cutting papers.
There are a variety of utility knives which are made to be used for a specific purpose. A butcher’s carving knife and skinning knife are also examples of utility knives. Knives today are used by everyone during their daily routine. A special purpose knife helps us to perform the task on hand with ease using the proper tool. If you want a hunting knife you would search in the camping gear department of a store and if you wanted an envelop opener you would visit a stationery store.
